I love this. What I like about all her aerials is that the changed point of view makes them very "compositional," you read them first somewhat abstractly, then discover the "realism" second. It's a very unlikely thing in a painting, more what you'd expect in a photograph, but painters can do things that are difficult for photographers--such as maintaining focus across improbable depth of field. These images are a bit what we'd have expected from Peter Pan if he'd had the gift and the patience to paint...
